I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with the Key Card Count, and whether they think it's worthwhile using for a perfect basic strategy player who wants to start counting. I read about it in Fred Renzey's "Blackjack Bluebook." It's an unbalanced count that involves tracking 4's, 5's, 10's (no face cards), and black aces only. Renzey states that it is only useful for recreational players who want to gain a slight long run advantage over the house. I'm wondering how it's effectiveness compares to other simplified counting systems, such as KO Rookie. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on the two aforementioned systems or other simple systems for recreational players. Thanks in advance.
