I'm 18 years old, almost 19 and have been traveling several hours to a Indian Reservation to get better practice. Over the course of this year I've been successful and am ready to tackle casinos more often. My question is, is it worth it to get a fake ID so I can play at the casinos near me to reduce external fees and maximize my gains?

I live in a state where it's not a felony. I'm basically wondering if anyone has done this and if they were caught. If so, were they simply told to leave or actually gotten a fine.
You're lucky that simply carrying the ID isn't a felony.
Actually using it probably still is. (Fraud, Criminal Impersonation, some various anti identity theft law...)

I used to work in MO casinos, they are one of the strictest in the country as far as enforcement. The Gaming Agents are state troopers and patrol the gaming floor. When caught, you will get arrested. Then you will get blacklisted from all casinos in the state and have a nice little conviction on your record.
MSBJPlayer is right, MO enforces the law against the underage use of fake ID.

And according to another article, the owner of the fake ID isn't the only one to be penalized: not only will the person using the ID be arrested and prosecuted, the casino operators will face hefty fines. That's the last thing they want or need, so they'll be on the lookout for you.

Bottom line: you are breaking the law, and if you get caught, you'll be in deep shit. Just because you live in MO doesn't mean you won't be punished if you get nailed. You could face fines and imprisonment as a result of your actions, so (quoting "Dirty Harry"), do you feel lucky?
