All the books I have read list the effects of different rules and number of decks on the basic strategy player. None of them have listed the effects on their specific systems.
Since some systems perform better against shoes and others perform better against single and double deck, compared to each other, it stands to reason that the effect of multiple decks on those systems is not quite the same.
It makes me wonder if some rules variations effect some systems more than others whether because of the how the specific cards being counted matter in regards to that rule, how much they matter, or because of the accuracy of their playng indices against that rule.
I also wonder if the cumulative effects of rules variations on each other may not net to the total of their seperate values. For instance, if resplitting is not allowed, not being able to double after splitting shouldn't hurt as bad as if there was unlimited resplitting allowed.
That leads to the question of whether certain systems do better against various combinations of rules and/or number of decks.
Sorry for the length of this post, but does anyone know where I can find this or how I can calculate it?
Thanks for any answers.
