...At least maybe somebody besides us has read Bill Zender's books. Based solely on this I am going to plan a trip to Laughlin in the near future, and I am going to let the Edgewater know why I am there, Sight-unseen, without even checking out CBJN. I have never been to the town, but I have heard it is very friendly.

When I was last in Laughlin, admittedly 1/2 year ago, the BJ games were not only pretty bad but the heat was intense.
The Tropicana is also advertising 3:2 blackjack via a big banner facing the street. So maybe it is the start of something.
During the week anway, Col Belle/Edge had NO green chip ploppie action. That's why the heat is intense at any sort of stakes. It's like going into Slots O Fun playing black. Tables were too crowded with $5 ploppies anyway. It's OK if you are a red chipper.
Playable places for green are Harrah's, maybe GN for short sessions, Aquarius, and Riverside. Possibly Tropicana but didn't go in there. Black is playable in short sessions at Harrah's, GN, and Riverside but you better have a players card or they will freak out and from what I hear GN will probably be the first to boot you.
