Blackjack 678 software can do
"1. use the K-O system
2. specify the level of penetration
3. specify number of decks
4. bet various units and have your bankroll kept track of
5. have it so the cards played are dependent events (i.e. no random number generation)
6. have it so made-up players controlled by the computer can play along with you at the table"
nos. 1-4 and 6. I'm not sure what you mean by no. 5. Even when the cards are shuffled using a random number generator, the cards that come out of the shoe are a function (i.e., dependent) of the cards that have already been dealt. If this were not the case, the shoe would be an "infinite" deck.
In the sense of the dependency I just described, the Blackjack 678 software can do this. If you were referring to the software being able to produce a "real-world" shuffle, 678 does not do this. Please keep in mind that a paper by John Gwynn a number of years ago proved that there was virtually no difference in the results between using a random shuffle and a real-world shuffle.
The Blackjack 678 software can be purchased thru Pi Yee Press (click Online Catalog on the left). For more on the new version of the software just released, see the Blackjack 678 software post below on 16 April 03.
