There is nothing to gain by talking about shuffle tracking on this board.
I don't agree. I have gained from the discussions on the subject. Ted Forrester's posts on segment borders were productive, for example.
Yes, you can get some half-way reasonable information already. But there is no reason to stick people's faces in it. People are lazy. If you give them something repeatedly they are more likely to take it. It they have to go looking for it, less people will get the information.

Advantage players make a living by having information. Why are you so eager to give it out?
I didn't. I've never published anything about segment tracking and I haven't written much about it online. Ask Patterson/Malmuth/Snyder/M'hall why they put it in the public domain. However, I am able to recognize it is in the public domain, and that secrecy is inappropriate. The method's been around for decades and much discussed. Card counting itself is scarcely better known.
Everybody has their own plays. Just because the circle of people you talk with doesn't track means nothing.
I do track. I just don't pretend it is anything special.
