...or do they just purchase regular decks from their suppliers and manually remove the individual 10's from each deck?
I was just musing at how fun it would be to find a casino that forgot to take the 10's out - assuming their dealers make the Espa�ola-style preparations themselves. (Then again, of course, someone'd probably say something with the first 10 that popped out too!)

I once overheard a brief conversation between two floorpeople about a new dealer putting the tens back in a Spanish 21 deck after they had been checked by the floor. The decks went into play, but I didn't hear how it ended. Would love to have been at the table at the time.
Obviously this place manually removed the tens, but I wouldn't be surprised if other places get special decks. It should be easy to tell - they would have to have a different design to their blackjack decks.
Was playing @ Murder City Casino in Detroit, trying to explain game to a girl there, told her they take out 10's. She said 'there's one', actually more than one on layout at the time. Floor person was relieving and forgot it was Spanish 21. Casino Op's lady came to table and asked how much each person had lost........just gave everyone what they told her, we all got free comps for lunch....Floor guy still has his job there too!
