I was just wondering if most of you advise to not play there, or whether these are isolated incidents.
I was thinking of playing there so any advise/experiences from others who've played there recently would be great...
on who puts up the post. Far too many people log in, deposit, get the bonus, play til they hit the minimum play to pull the bonus, and then do so. It's like walking into a casino, going from $5 to $300 and counting out loud. GC has been around forever and I highly doubt they would do you in for what would appear to be normal play. With a #250 for a $100 depo, you should be very happy. There are ways of playing these places properly.

what sort of buffer would be acceptable for the casinos to think your not hustling???(or allow you to cash out the bonus)
That is a lot of action. Divide the $250 by the 5250 to compute your edge +/- . I usually leave the depo in for at least two weeks. Recently I have been leaving it in for a month, then pull it and leave the bonus there. Come back and give them extra action after you have your depo back, then pull it when you need the money, at least a week or so later. Play 200 in the AM and another 200 in the PM over a two week period.
If you deposit and they credit your bonus and then you meet all of their terms and wagering requirments they should pay without playing all those games. If they can't honor their offers with the existing terms they should not be making the offer.
That would be like me going into a landbased casino with a $20 free cash coupon and making it into 3,4 or 5 hundred dollars and the casino saying we did not mean for you to win any money with that coupon so we are taking it all back. Absurd

i was going to use that $250 edge to push it and maybe walk away with a large win....
as ill be giving them plenty of time to get their money back (after ive wagered the requirement), im sure theyll be happy about it, as i guess you could say im not hustling them, but playing it like a ploppy
If I was convinced that they steal I would be the first person to tell you so. I've burned GC and all of their sister casinos for thousands, and am about to do it all over again.
But something weird is going on now. Use extreme caution. Operations have gone bad unfortunately.
Comment: it may be that GC is simply having administrative problems. My brother got his cheque at last after four months-this seems to be down to the changeover to the new PIN system (which didn't effect me & Rob since existing MG clients are apparently exempted from this security procedure). That is not neccessarily a good thing: administrative incompetence in this case was more damaging than outright malice would have been.
I have found that some of the support staff are just useless knobs that only want to show up for work and actually do nothing. I am normally a pretty good judge of character and often have to force them to do their job when I know that they will not email me back or get their manager to look into it etc. I don't hang up until I have spoken to someone who is in charge. Often these people are used to doing LESS than the people that pick up the phone. You can hear them chatting in the background, a bunch of no name suits that think they are hot cheese trying to impress the girls that they own the casino or something. They can get back to being knobs quicky if they give me what I deserve. I will not go away.
I'm sure things have changed since I sauntered off with their cash. There bonuses are much bigger now, but so is the action required. They will look at my play and it will look like typical ploppy play to them. "Doesn't always double 11, doesn't always bet $2 a hand ... ... ... "How the frig did he get the balance up to $xxxx??" "He is taking out $100, What should I do?" "Give it to him. No doubt he will come back and lose the rest playing like that."
I thought your cashin advice was ultra conservative but now it seems you dont play BS 100%,do you think they will see that once in a while you dont double an 11 and think "oh no way is he a bonus hustler".

All this stuff about cashin half after a week,then play some more.Then go back a month later play some in the morning some in the evening,then cashin the rest!This is a waste of time.

Rob forgot to mention the need to keep sessions short, chat with the dealers and PCs and other people at the table, make the occasional big bet of the top, rathole, play different shifts, wear Bermuda shorts, never split tens...... Sorry which form of advantage play are we talking about??

I'm not sure if you likening me to DS is ment to be a compliment or an insult. ;> I use a Risk Aversive Basic Strategy that kicks in at a certain point. I am not afraid of anything, but I do consider myself conservative. Much like the rabbit that won the race against the hare.

Then you might also consider playing at one casino for a half hour, then another, and another a waste of time as well. That is what counters tend to do when they play downtown LV. I may "walk" from one casino to the next one and play for 2 solid hours, come back and do the same thing tomorrow. That walk takes me about a minute.

People have been doing that a little too much and that is why they keep upping the required action, and trying to trip you when you run for the door. A good bonus bandit knows how to slide in, and slide out. You can go ahead and bust the front door down, smash and grab, and head for the back door, but your deposit is sitting right where they want it.
Hey, gotta go and put in another $200 and pull my depo. Got my credit card statement and don't want to have to pay anything again this month. ;>

if receiving a check i assume you would need different addresses....i also assume you would need to change computers and emails....
add this to the length of payment and it becomes like a job....guess thats what happens when you hustle anything though....
When you are starting out don't worry about what the high 5 figure guys are doing. If anyone should get barred it should be me, but that has not happened. Relax, and go after the money. If they shut you down, you can always get around it, just like in a real casino.
