I forget with whom I was discussing this, but we were debating the frequency of occurence of high counts. My position was that the more decks there are in the shoe, the more even the count runs and the less frequently extreme counts occur. His position was pretty much the opposite.
It occured to me I could go to www.qfit.com and get the stats to back up my argument; so here are just a few to illustrate my point:
TC = +2: DD: 9.38% 6D: 7.57%
TC = +3: DD: 3.70% 6D: 3.51%
TC = +4: DD: 3.34% 6D: 2.65%
The above are according to Qfit's preset criteria, which in this case are 75% pen on the DD, and 83% pen on the 6D. Note the higher frequency of more extreme counts in DD DESPITE the lower pen!
