"DD rescue" rule

Hi there,

The game is 6D, ENHC, DD rescue versus 10 (early surrender versus 10 after DD). I came to an interesting conclusion � doubling 11 versus 10 is preferable to hitting in ENHC if surrendering after doubling down is available. Yes, if one decides to double these hands instead of hitting them, he will increase the house edge by 0.00034096. On the other hand, if the player surrenders all doubled hands having a total of 16 or less, he will improve his chances versus the dealer by 0.000850203. So, the difference 0.000509243 (0.05%) is in player�s favor. If I add to this the advantage 0.000284168, gained from surrendering after DD versus 8 and 9, the whole rule �DD rescue versus 10� will contribute 0.079% to player�s dreams. Not bad if it is true. According to wizardofodds.com, the effect of such a rule (DD rescue) is 0.1%, but it is calculated for 8 decks and dealer taking a hole card. So, what are pros thinking? Am I right or not? Everybody is welcome to prove me wrong.

I calculated the effect of DD rescue versus 10 on condition that multiple card ES10 is available. Thus, if one prefers to hit 11 versus 10 he will gain about 0.000153 from surrendering the hands reaching totals of 14, 15 and 16. So, the effect 0.000509243 being bigger than 0.000153, shows that the DD is a better buy by 0.000356243 (0.036%). I have to hurry to publish this before Wong or Snyder. An unsuccessful attempt of me to joke. So, I�d venture to say that in �6D, ENHC, and ES10 after DD� game, doubling 11 versus 10 is better than hitting even if multiple card ES10 is available.
