Foxwoods...
Just got back from a short trip to Foxwoods -- we came down on Sunday, stayed overnight and left after lunch on Monday.
Played low-stake games in the Grand Pequot Casino ($15 and $25 BJ). Games were hand-shuffled, 8? decks, no resplit on aces, double after split and could split up to four times. Sunday was a zoo -- heck, it was even quite crowded at 2:00 am, but Monday was much quieter. Got a couple of really friendly dealers, which was nice, and at least one who seemed to want to be somewhere (anywhere) else.
Gave up on the Rainmaker Casino, which had some $10, $15 and $25 tables. It was too noisy, too crowded, and felt like being in a subway car. I think it's the low roof, but it might also just have been full o'people.
