Craps Advantages

I think before anyone goes into expensive seminars or buys expensive material, a little homework is in order. I recommend three books:

Forever Craps by Frank Scoblete
Get the Edge at Craps by Sharpshooter
The Craps Underground by Frank Scoblete

These are on sale at Amazon at pretty good discounts. If you are still interested in dice control after reading these books, then by all means buy Wong's book and sign up for a seminar.

Sharpshooter's book is about $20. After you think you're pretty good, use the included instructions to build a practice box and stop kidding yourself with tosses onto a bed. Record five or six thousand throws. Make sure you record every throw, not just what you think are good samples. Record throws that end up on the floor as well as this was a bad throw that would have resulted in a random result. Those should not be tossed out. I think the bed tossers will be very disappointed at what their efforts have yielded them if they are honest with the keeping of statistics (most are not). But, you will have made over $150 by not buying the more expensive book. A penny saved is a penny earned.

While it has very good information regarding dice setting, it is dreadful when it comes betting techniques. On recent trips I noted people with good technique, but not making much money due their poor betting patterns.

I can't go with either of those two books by Yuri or Feinman. I think the poor English is enough to drive you crazy and the recommendations to throw from the end of the table which is the farthest point are just awful. That's like pitching from the outfield The other books I recommended have more to them I believe.
