Counting / The Strip

Couple of questions:

1) On the Vegas Strip, I'm curious to know what the "usual" minimum bet is where you can get good rules on a 6 deck game (dealer stands on soft 17, double after split, surrender). We talking $15, $25, or higher?

2) Also, I've been working with Wong's Professional Blackjack for a couple of months, and I've got all the charts I think are relevant memorized (as they're starting to become part of my working memory), except for Surrender. In regards to my first question, at the Vegas Strip casinos with good rules, what is offered most, late or early Surrender? I need to learn the Surrender numbers, but don't know which chart to go with.

First off, for an investment of less than one bet you can purchase CBJN (current blackjack news) on this site. What it can save you in shoe leather and time makes it well worth the price.
The south strip seems to have many s-17 games with surrender. Check out the MGM and Luxor, I think they have both h and s-17 pits and last trip to vegas they both had $10 tables. The Trop has s-17 and surrender but only at $25 min. That's all I'll give you, look into CBJN, it also gives you an approx penetration.

You can easily find $5 and $10 minimums on six deck, especially during the less crowded hours. Get a copy of CBJN for a complete listing of game conditions. what is offered most, late or early Surrender?

Most casinos don't have any surrender. Only some have late surrender. Early surrender is extremely rare. If you find early surrender, don't tell anybody but me.

I found good 6D games on the strip for $10 mins at most places. During the day. At night and on weekends, $10 is a bit harder to find. I even found a few $5 min tables during the day. We stayed at the Grand, which had $5 during the early morning mid-day range, but they all turned into $10 and up at night/weekends. The Trop across the street had $5 games at night even. Even Caesar's had $10 tables during the daytime when I was there.

I'm not aware of any Vegas casinos offering early surrender. There are a number offering late surrender. EX. Golden Nugget
