I was playing a decent DD game (for my area anyway) yesterday with just one other player. On the first deal, 4 aces were dealt. I was thinking that this makes the odds for the rest of the shoe worse, but didn't have any idea of how to quantify that. If the deck is "ace poor" I don't really want to increase my bet as much as if it were more evenly mixed. I'm using a Hi-Lo lite count.
Has anyone tested any way to modify a simple count such as Hi-Lo lite to account to the number of aces? Alternatively, do you use an Ace side count to take that into account and then how do you use your Ace side count to modify your betting decisions?
