choppy vs streaks

i guess i should find a beginners board to post this sort of stuff on...leave the more technical Qs for this board, but this seems like a knowledgable forum

is there anyway in getting a general idea to whether the cardplay will be choppy or streaks???

does the type of game have any affect???

just thought id ask, i seem to get choppier play in spanish 21- much less busting...

im thinking that it probally wont affect how the cards will play, but itd be nice to know for sure...

im also guessing # of players also doesnt affect the play, just seems that the play has always been choppier with more players...

i guess thats just been my experience, but will someone please throw this wishful thinking where it belongs...

Obviously, streaks exist; unfortunately, you will never see them coming. Streaks can only be identified after they are over. Even if you are a card counter, you will not be able to predict either winning or losing streaks. High counts do not mean you will have an unbroken string of wins; in fact, you won't even win 50% of the hands. Low counts also don't mean you will have an unbroken string of losses. The nature of playing winning bj is not related to streaks. It is dependent on betting bigger in those situations where the player has a small advantage, and betting smaller in situations where the dealer has the advantage. still, would certain games affect losing streaks??a while back i asked the probability of losing streaks....

they posted the streaks for an average BJ game and a game called ????
cant remember the name but the frequency of these streaks varied dramatically between these 2 games...

this means maybe the rules of the game affect (on average) how choppy the cards come out....obviously the less streaks, the more choppy...

yes, unfortunately the only way to know how long a streak is, is when its over...

still, itd nice to know if certain games have fewer streak (on avg) than others......itd be much better for my heart
