casinos in A.C. and Vegas

I'm a new counter using Stanford Wong's methods and Deep Net training software. I'm looking for information as to the most common tables in Atlantic City and Las Vegas casinos so I can study and practice the correct information.

Do most casinos in Atlantic City and Las Vegas allow double after split and do they generally hit or stand on soft 17? Also, are 8 decks the usual?

Answer to Jeffrey about casinos in AC and LV

I haven't been to Las Vegas for long time, but I rememberd that some LV casinos hit soft 17. No casino hit soft 17 in AC. Some LV casinos don't allow you to double after spliting. Except Sands, AC casinos use 8 decks (Foxwood and Mohegan Sun in Conn.,too).
