Do casinos employees use internal codes to refer to certain actions such as backoff etc..? if so, are they universal? For instance I overheard 120 at one time and 911 at one time in 2 different casinos.
Not certain about codes, but regarding communication there is often no communication between hosts and their own casino regarding players. They often do not know you have been barred! Many times I have enjoyed meals and room comps after I have been backed off (but not 86ed).
they kept paging famous people (primarily actors/actresses) over the public address system throughout the casino - at first I thought they were just trying to tease us degenerates and add a little excitement to our bleak gaming experience and then I realized these were code names they were using, similar to those used in hospitals, where they could page someone without arousing concern/suspicion/curiosity among the populus - keep an ear out for such things if you are interested in "casino code" breaking
Security codes use codes like police, most of which are the same. The one most people know is 86, which means barred from the casino. (Not just for BJ but also for other reasons, like being drunk or whatever) Others are 10-8 (break time), 10-20 (where are you?) and stuff like that.
