Reread my post and you will see that I never said it is a high liklihood that if you are seen leaving a casino with a large amount of cash you will be stopped by the police. What I said was that if you are stopped by the police on any pretext and a large amount of cash is found on your person, there is a good chance it will be confiscated. I mentioned leaving a casino with a large amount of cash could be enough to get you stopped because I have known it to happen to people. Not in Las Vegas, but in other places. Believe it or not, there are casinos outside of Nevada and Las Vegas.
Let me give you an example of this "probable cause." A cop stops a fellow leaving a casino in a rural area. His reason for stopping him? He allegedly had a loose license plate. The fellow had one of those fanny packs strapped to his waist. The cop asked him what was in the pack. The fellow told him cash. As I recall, it was around $18,000. It was consfiscated and as far as I know, he still hasn't gotten it back.
Now maybe you think this was a coincidence. Maybe it actually was. Maybe.
