Building a br on a shoestring

I read an old post by bigplayer about a guy who can add $400 to his br every month and wants to build it up. After I pay my bills I have 1k( in a bad month) to a few thousand on average I can put to my br. If I were to wong a 6 deck game what would be the best way for me to get it up to 5k ASAP without too much ror? The games near me are AC about 1/4 to 1/4 decks cut off but they have a few $10 games and one $5 game. In CT there is a casino that normally has 2 decks cut off but some dealers will cut off only one deck and this games is better but the limits are higher. The last time I went was on Friday and the minimum where the good pen dealers were dealing was $25 but during the week it should be $15 or $10. Anyway they have ls and really no heat except stupid ploppies who don't like me going in and out of hands but during the week it should be less crowded. And in a couple months I maybe coming into another 5k as a bonus so that's why I said 5k because with 10k I should worry more about ror and I can play all instead of wonging and I can go to Reno, Tunica, Vegas.

to get a 5K bankroll is to keep your job and save 1K per month for 5 months. I only suggest this since you mention keeping ROR low as a consideration. Consider your overall bankroll to be $12,000 (one year of saving $1,000 per month) and the cash you have on hand to be merely trip bankroll. If you win you're adding to a $12,000 bank, if you lose you're losing from a 12K bank.

Other than that, the best way to build bankroll is via the internet. Arnold Snyder supposedly has a book comming soon which should smooth out the learning curve a bit. Take advantage of the various sign-up bonuses to build your bankroll.

The next best way to build bankroll is to move to Las Vegas and become a coupon hound. It does, however, take a lot of Ellis Island placemats...but every so often a casino does offer a $600 for $300 promo or 2:1 on blackjacks that doesn't work out very well. But then this choice would require you to quit your job that allows you to stash away $1,000 per month.

In Ac the pen is like 1 1/2 to 1 3/4 of a deck cut of but no ls. If you have something close to what you recommended before but maybe a little less risky being that I'll be wonging the whole time.

Most people have a single event that builds their bankroll. I believe DD' did it on 2:1 and 3:1 BJ promotions. It ain't going to happen wonging a shoe game for red chips in AC. You might have fun, you might gain experience that will allow you to recognize a better play, but you won't have dramatic bankroll growth.

The MIT team did not build a bankroll on shoe games. They started with a big bankroll and made it bigger on shoe games.

how much better is single deck compared to wonging when you only have a couple thousand dollars? If I discovered this a couple years ago and played break even I would have at least 20k saved up.

I think I need to team up with a shuffle tracker and spilit the proceeds or wait for a 2 for 1 blackjack night, preferably single deck.
