I was recently overseas in blackjack heaven:
6D, H17, DAS, ES10, no LS against an ace, EH, you only lose your original bet against a dealer's natural. 5.5 decks played....wait, it's not over: you can double 3 cards 9, 10, 11....waat..wait...it gets better: you can split any 16, that's right....
Where ? obviously not in the US.....and the best part, almost no heat...It took them 30 hours of play to finally mid-shoe me with no cover at all. Meanwhile I made $10,000....because of terribly bad luck.....The limits are not high: $3-$200, or $25-$500, but you can play as many hands as you like
now I already figured out that I would not split 9/7, 88, or 10/6 against the 10, preferring to take the early surrender option. I would hit A5....But what about the ace, where you you only lose your first split against a natural? and 16 against a 9? should you surrender or split? I would be grateful for any inputs. Willing to exchange information privately against other international opportunities as I am but burned out in this place. e-mail me at libanus@aol.com
