Blackjack book recommendations

Hi. I'm new to this group and new to Blackjack. I've read the Blackjack FAQ of the Usenet too. I know the rules and understand them. From what I know one should know two things. Basic Strategy and Card Counting. I'd like to know a book that covers them. I've seen that "Professional Blackjack" by Wong and "Knock-out Blackjack" are recommended everywhere. I know that Wong's title is torough, and I'd like to know if it cover what I'm looking for or it's just about Card Counting. I'd like to have the Basic Strategy charts too, not just the Card Counting ones. Does this book have both?. Another question is that which card counting strategy is better. I know there's no single answer to it. I've read that Hi-Lo described in Professional Blackjack is good and not too hard, at least not as hard as other methods, being a very good one. I want a book that is a good source of info. I don't care if it doesn't show many stories, as I prefer a book to learn now better than a book to amuse me. Any other suggestions about Blackjack, books, software are welcomed. I live in Europe, in Spain to be precise, by the way. I think it's important to mention it as I've read some rules in Europe differs from the US. A casino in my town offers 6 Decks, 7 playing seats, Stand on any 17, NO DAS, Double on 9, 10 , 11, Split on any, No Surrender, BJ pays 3:2. It gives a 0.76% edge to the house according to some sources. Not too great, I think.

Pretty much every book that contains a card counting strategy, will also have the composite basic strategy included. Here's some of my recomondations:

1. Knock Out Blackjack:

-Probably the best card counting method for an absolute beginner to learn. Also contains a composite basic strategy chart.

2. Blackjack Bluebook 2:

-This book provides a great analysis on blackjack in general. It not only provides a detailed explanation of basic strategy, but it also provides a good introduction to camouflage techniques and other card counting systems (However the KO should still be your primary focus).

3. Professional Blackjack:

-This book is very thorough. It covers balanced counts, including the Hi Lo and the Halves. I switched from the KO to the Hi Lo, mainly because of the small increase in accuracy of using a balanced count. The Hi Lo is very similar to the KO, and I spent little effort to master it.

4. Blackjack Attack:

-This is a very technical guide to blackjack. Once you've read and understood the concepts of this book you will truley be one of the most educated blackjack players in Spain. It's a great text for card counters.

These books should give you a great foundation to work from, but if you want to keep learning, here's some other great titles:

5. Blackjack for Blood

-Contains the Advanced Omega 2 count. A great count for 1 and 2 decks.
6. Blackbelt in Blackjack

-Provides a great introduction to shuffle tracking.
7. Million Dollar Blackjack

-Written by one of the greatest blackjack players of all time. Plus it contains great stories of team play.
8. Get the Edge in Blackjack

-Provides great information on advantage play techniques other than counting(but it also covers the Hi Lo count).
10. The Theory of Blackjack

-If you read and understand this book, you'll be able to teach Blackjack in Ivy league college.
11. Burning the Tables

-An important book to keep yourself from getting barred.

These are all of the books that I've read. Check out the message board for other recomendations previously posted as well.

For Blackjack Software:

1. Casino Verite

-This is probably the best training tool to use.
