Yes, on average
YOU GUYS MAKE IT SEEM AWFUL TOUGH TO WIN AT BLACKJACK. MANY CLAIM THAT AT MOST YOU HAVE A ONE PERCENT
ADVANTAGE OVER THE CASINO. DOES THIS MEAN YOU HAVE TO BET $100,000 JUST TO GET $1000 AHEAD WITH ADVANTAGE PLAY?
You make it awfully hard to read your post. Please use lower case.
If you have a 1% advantage, you make $1000 for every $100,000 bet, on average. If you make $10 bets at 100 bets / hour, you need only to play 100 hours to expect a $1000 win.
However, there is variance or standard deviation which you also have to consider. Each hour you would win ($10)(100)(1%) = $10/hour, but your standard deviation will be more like $120. This means any given hour, you expect to be within -$110 to +$130 about 68% of the time and within -$230 to +$250 about 95% of the time.
