O.K., so I know that I had stated recently that I wouldn't be playing until my financial situation had improved substantially, but I was recently presented an opportunity to play some low stakes blackjack with good rules and conditions. A well funded friend of a friend of mine has started his own house banked, Vegas strip rules four deck game (minus late surrender) with very good pen. This gracious host frequents Vegas a few times a year and regularly losses at blackjack as he is a free wheeling, partying, action seeking ploppy.
I recently attended his inaugural home casino without knowing what to expect and was pleased to find a traditional blackjack table with a four deck clear acrylic shoe game with good pen ranging from a half to one deck cutoff. Table min.-max was $2 to $20 with spreading to two hands allowed (I was the only one who did so) for an effective spread possible of $2-$40.
As my financial situation is pretty tight right now, I played for about two hours and my "visible" spread was only about $2-$12 and I finished up a grand total of $8.
This game will be available to me on a weekly basis and I'd like to play it periodically, if not weekly, as I really do miss the joy I feel when implementing a pretty good game plan. As I don't want to "burn this game out", if that is possible. I realize that the spread I'll be using isn't optimal and if anyone would like to offer an optimal 2-20 spread for this game, I'd certainly appreciate it.
So I ask this; If anyone with BJRM could run a sim for the following game and pen with this spread: 4D, S17, DOA, DAS, SPA1, SPL3, NS, Hi-Lo with Ill. 18 (and a few more indices), Avg. pen 3.25/4, ranging from 3.5/4 to 3/4. I'd certainly like to see my EV, SD/100, and ROR for a 400 unit bank. I plan on playing a near "play all" as I will be able to wong out only infrequently.
I plan on spreading as follows:
$2 < +1
$4 > +1
$4 X 2 > +2
$6 X 2 > +3
$8 X 2 > +4
$10 X 2 > +5
As a guess, I suspect my EV to be around 2.5 units/100 and my ROR to be somewhere around the 13.5% mark. I just want to make sure that I'm not to far out of the ballpark. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Telescopic
