Bet Spread vs. Indices

Forgive me in advance if this is wrong but I found this interesting while talking to a table games supervisor that one could get away with this if no deviations or indices were used.
Say I found a casino with the following rules six deck S17 Vegas rules, 80%+ pen, where I could spread anything say 90 units but not use any indices, would the large bet spread offset my not deviating or does it not matter. Bankroll or ROR doesn't matter in this case lets say. Thanks in advance for any credible insight.

You can easily win with pure BS provided you jump your bets at the right moment.Indices can only add about 20% to this.
The logic is that you will be barred very quickly if you play like that.By the way, the average pitboss doesn't know anything about indices, let alone dealers. Deviations might even serve as cover play!

Do you believe them? I don't. I have one and _know_ that it works. Our military use them on aircraft and know that they work.

I can see you walking thru the woods late at night using a flashlight way before you can see me using that light. Don't listen to the PCs (pit critters). First, most are legends in their own mind with respect to understanding card counting. Second, most have no idea about correct basic strategy, much less playing indices and BS departures.

You can get barred/tossed for spreading, for using indices, or even for just winning without counting at all. Because they "know" you are counting since you can't win playing BS, they read it in a book...

Only an idiot would ask the bank guard "what is the best way to break into this bank and rob it?" :)
