Basic Strategy
I have been wondering for a long time- when you have a soft 15-soft 16, why do you double more as opposed to a soft 13-14? It always made more sense to me to double against 2-6 with a soft 12-13 because thre are more cards you can catch that will help you. With a soft 15-16, there are less helpful cards you can catch, so why double more often? I realize that your advantage goes up more when a 5 is out, ie. soft 16 than a 2, ie. soft 13, but does it really make that much difference? Please help.
