Based on % advantage, Is this betting strategy good?

Hi, I know alot of guys here bet based on the true count. Raising to specific amounts/units according to the true count. Let me know what you think based on the numbers below, betting on the percent advantage. I'll use a $10 table to make it easier as a benchmark. Please let me know if it can be more efficient and why. Also, from a unit increase perspective, would it also be good at a $25 table?

.25% $15 (1.5 units)
.50% $20 (2 units)
.75& $25 (2.5 units)
1.0& $30 (3 units)
1.5% $40 (4 units)
2.0% $50 (5 units)

This 1-5 spread is break even. To get an understanding of what your bets should be you will need to calculate your optimum bets based on your available bankroll and what you wish your risk of ruin to be. It also will be determined on the rules of the game you play.

If your bankroll is $3,450 then your proper bet size at a 1% advantage (full Kelly) is about $30. That means at 2% your bet should be $60 not $50. (2x the advantage bet 2x the money).

Likewise, at 0.25% advantage you should bet 25% of $30 or about $7.50.

An Optimal Ramp Would be something like (rounded unit sizes)

0.25% $5
0.50% $15
0.75% $20
1.00% $30
1.50% $50
2.00% $60
2.50% $80
3.00% $90

and so forth...

Thank you for the info. What would it be if it was $10 minimum table? I ask because your ramp showed numbers less than $10. Also, at $3,450, what is the risk of ruin based on the new numbers at a $10 table? Thank you.

the risk of ruin playing at $10 table with $3450 bankroll is 100%.

the optimum bet spread for your bankroll even at 13.5% ROR would be

>2 - $2
+2 - $13
+3 - $30
+4 - $45

That is assuming you wong out at -3 and have about 1-20 bet spread.

if your gonna play the $10 table you will need a bigger bank.

To get $30 unit for 1% advantage you need a BR of $3960 not $3450. I multipled $3000 x 1.15 which is the SD but should have multiplied by the Variance which is SD^2 or 1.32.

If your bottom bet is forced to be $10 you're gonna have to use a pure wonging type approach sitting out all hands until you have a 0.5% edge and then bet $15 at +2, $30 at +3, etc.

The ramp showed numbers less than $10 because that is the optimal bet...if you cannot make that wager then your only available choices are to overbet or sit out the hand.

OK, so can you please breakdown the initial bankroll I would need to play $10 tables with a low ROR (Lower than 5%. More like 2 to 3 %)? Please also show betting in dollar amounts based on Percentage gain (Not true count), Thank you all.
