Barrings/back-offs

In the last few years, I have been barred or close to that at a few casinos in different parts of the country. I have grouped them into the following categories. I would appreciate any suggestions on how best to deal with these locations in the future:
1. At a Vegas, Northern Nevada and Mississippi casino - on the way back from a bathroom break, or just with a tap on the shoulder by a pit boss, I was told that I could no longer play blackjack but could play certain other games. Should I return to play at these casinos after perhaps three to four years and then not give them my player's card or ID? Do you think they would still recognize me?
2. A year ago, at a Vegas casino, I was told by a pit boss, in a negative voice, that he knew I was counting cards but did not bar me. I left the casino soon after he told me that. Do you think he/they made a note on my record? When do you think it would be safe to return? Should I show them my player's card or other ID?
3. At a Vegas and Northern Nevada casino, it became totally obvious to me that I was being watched by the pit bosses there. More than one came over near my table and totally watched my play. I soon left. How long do you think it would be safe to return to these two casinos? Ingcognito when I return?
Interestingly, I get mailings from all of these casinos with offers of various types of free things to return to their casinos.

The way you tell it, it sounds like you haven't been read the trespass act. If that's the case, it's still legal for you to attempt to play there. I certainly wouldn't attempt it right away, though.

Additionally, if they are still sending you offers, the different branches of management are not in full communication with each other. A good thing.

I would leave each store alone for two to six months, and when I return, I would modify my appearance slightly and definitely not use a player's card or I.D.

There are a lot of factors which determine how successful a player is getting back into play at a casino where he's been backed off.

1. Are you distinctive looking? Unforgettable distinguishing characteristics? If to you may never be forgotten, especially if you played a bunch of hours at that store.

2. Employee Turnover...are the shift managers who would remember you still there? I played a casino in Biloxi for only 15hrs 5 years ago and got backed off...when trying to get back earlier this year I lasted just 2 hands.

3. The Memory Factor...some places not only have low turnover, but knowledgeable employees with long memories for names and faces. Major casinos who aren't overly paranoid only backoff 3-6 people a month (on average). The shift managers usually do the deed, so they tend to remember it as I know they really don't like having to do it.

Note, that in none of the above is any mention of FRS. This software is highly overrated. You have more to worry about from sharp floor people with long memories than FRS.

If you're average looking without any real memorable characteristics you may have good success with simply getting a new players card or going back on another shift and playing anonymously. There is a good bit of luck involved...if it's a slow day and surveillence has nothing better to do you might get nailed very quickly.

I was read the socalled "Tresspass act" at Ballys about four years ago. This was including all Entertainment park property.

My question is: What would happen is I was caught playing again in one of these casinos?
