Bankroll questions

Hi everybody, I was wondering if someone could help me with risk of ruin for $10 min bet with a bankroll of $5000 (I have a job however, and can replenish it... about 2k per month). Also, to help me determine a good spread. I currently use KO preferred at standard 6 deck games. In addition, could you please tell me how you arrived at these answers, I have been trying with great effort to understand the different posts both here, in bookstores, and on the internet and I just cant see the answers.

If I had answered this, I would have used CVCX. But since Norm has put his stuff on the web, you can go to his web site and answer your question exactly. You can pick the right sim result (KO, etc) and the right game rules (S17, H17, etc) and then look to see the optimal bet ramp. You can set your bankroll to $5K, set your min bet unit to $10, and then see the optimal bet ramp, the RoR, and so forth.

I use this (CVCX) regularly to make sure that my betting ramp is optimal for a particular game I am playing...

I would predict that at your $10 betting level, the cost of CVCX will be recovered in the first session you play after doing some detailed analysis about your bet ramp...
