Hello all! I see that backbetting (standing behind a seated blackjack player and placing a bet based on their decisions; I believe this practice can be used as a form of wonging in and out) is allowed at Foxwoods in Connecticut as well as some casinos in Canada and California.
Aside from online casinos, is this practice of backbetting allowed elsewhere (either formally or informally)? (I have tried asking pit personnel if I can backbet, and they have usually said "no," probably because it gets too confusing to figure out whose bet is whose, unless of course the casino is specifically (formally) 'set-up' to handle backbetting action.).
