New Horseshoe?
Are you talking about the Horseshoe in Hammond, Indiana? This is the closest of the river boats to Chicago. Jack Binion has owned it for about 4 years now. I guess you could consider it new since it recently had about 70 million in renovations done to it. It has the largest gross revenue out of all the Chicago Area boats.
In other words, it is the most crowded boat you can go to. It doesn't have to offer competitive games, since it is the closest. Simply because the next place to gamble is several more minutes down the road, people in a large hurry to lose their money, people who are gambling as a spur of the moment fling, and the stupid and lazy, fill the place to bursting 24/7.
Of course, Jack knows a little about how to run a gambling operation, so the comps are good for the winners, they cull out the losers, and it all works like a well oiled trap. Too bad it is a privately held corporation.
