A big problem to that approach...
John, I know that you were earnest in your post, but there is a real big problem in just ignoring JP's...er, I mean Frank's posts:
If a newbie come to these pages, he does so because he is seeking ways to improve his game, and is willing to ask/listen to those who have more experience and knowledge in order to do so.

If someone like JP...(Oops, Sorry! Again I mean "Frank",) claims to be an expert, and is spouting nonsense telling beginners to split 10's against 5's (or whatever "hidden flaws" it is he claims to have found in basic strategy) and no one challenges him or at the very least points out that he is wrong, its just natural for those beginners to assume that those horrible plays must be correct!
So instead of coming here and getting good info to improve their game, they've come here and gotten garbage that will only hurt them.

I cannot just lie down and passively accept that.
@^!
In the BJ world, where legitimate counters sometimes have go to almost obsessive lengths to gain 1/4 of a percent in their theoretical advantage, it is surely morally wrong not to point out extremely flawed nonesense logic that could cost a beginner even more.
Don't you agree?
Take care,
@^)
