Advice for a beginner and wonging...

I am a beginner (as you probably can tell by the questions I post), and I was wondering what advice you would give on the first trip out to the casinos as a counter. I've practiced a lot of counting at home (I use the hi-lo system) and can count pretty quickly. I know basic strategy and index plays for the system pretty thoroughly. I've gambled numerous times before at blackjack tables, but never as a card counter.

I guess my plan right now is to play only when its to my advantage (ie. best rules, good penetration) by wonging in and out of games. I'm interested in attacking shoes before single and double deck though (plan to jump in during positive counts, and leave when it goes negative), do you think this is practical? Also is wonging still doable? I'm gonna do my gambling in vegas so I should have enough casinos to go in and out of. Just wondering if you guys could give me any more pointers as a beginner. Start at one end of the strip and work your way to the other end. Go into each place, wait for a high count, jump in, shove the money out. Do this perhaps two or three times per casino per shift at most. Go to next casino, lather, rinse, and repeat. Don't overstay in any one place. Stay mobile.

PS: Make sure you start an exercise program before you go if you're not in good shape. You will be walking a lot if you do this correctly. Some places you may not even play.

sit at the table and watch then jump in 2 hands of 1/4 top bet at +2,1/2 top bet at +3 then top bet at +4... when the count goes below 2 sit out... don't ask for pen unless u know the dealer because some fuckers point at the discard rack...if the floor looks at u funny say i want to get bj on my first hand...try to double for others... don't play more than a few hours... don't make friends w/ ploppies remember u r there to win, gamblers r losers...

on how much you bet. Some casinos may shuffle up on you or not allowing mid-shoe entry. some restrict how much you can jump in. I think you are talking about wong in with green chips which should be OK. If you have bigger BR and plan wong in in black chips, play all spread up then leave or wong out are a better options.
