Beginning April 12, 2003 BJ21.com is moving to a new server. What this means to you as a visitor is that there may be a few minutes of down time and a few lost posts. The switch will be made late Monday or Tuesday night when there are fewer people visiting. When the switch is made a complete site backup is done on the old server and put in effect on the new server. If there are any posts made in this 10 to 15 minute span, they will be lost.
One other inconvenience this will cause to you is the loss of cookies. Cookies are files created in your web browser that make the website more convenient to use. Cookies save information about your display preferences on the message boards, as well as give you indicators for new posts. These will be gone the first time you visit the website after the server move, but will return upon your second visit after the move.
