We ordered a case of the new softcover book Blackjack Autumn by Barry Meadow which is $14.95 retail. Now that we have those, BJ21.com has decided to sell the last two hard cover copies we have rather than return them to the publisher.

The hard cover version retailed at $27.95 originally, but we are selling our last two copies for $12.95 each (less than the cost of the soft cover version) to clear that inventory.

If you want one of our last two hard copy versions, use BJ21.com's online order form and put in the "Special Instructions" at the bottom that you want the hard cover version. We will only charge you $12.95 for each copy plus shipping and taxes.

Please note that BJ21.com only charges a flat fee for shipping so there is no additional shipping charges for additional items ordered. You will save shipping costs by getting multiple items in one order over making separate orders.

It will make you laugh, chuckle, roll your eyes, raise your eyebrows, cry (with pathos AND bathos), and wish you could write your own blackjack book. The author, of course, could not lie straight in bed! Lives in California? Indeed! Nevertheless, it is a book like no other. Notice that it is the only non text book type on the bj21 reading list? This is because it is so good. When I read it I began by reading a couple of chapters (they are short) each night. But found I was not turning out the light until 4 am. A brutally honest tale by a gambler who not only totally knows from the inside what playing blackjack to win and make a living at it is all about, but has the wirting ability to make the reader believe that it is them playing in the casino.

I knew I was entering somthing approximating Bedlam when I first posted here and read the first reply to that post (it was by our favourite Persian Punk :-)...). But selling HARDCOVER for less than soft cover? Just mad. I'm tempted to buy them both just for the bargain. David, have you gone mad? Why would ANYONE buy a soft cover when they can get a hard cover for LESS????
