SBA spits the index out at +2 for Z/Omega+.
As Francis commented above, for almost all counts, Ace is high, six is low, and 8 is neutral. The count when you have that holding, off the top, should be zero.
If it's BS to double, then you shouldn't need a positive index, with H17 (Wong gives zero for Hi-Lo).
In any event, as I have stated many times, you should never have to apologize or think you're going to get heat for playing BS. Keep a stupid BS card on the table, and if and when the play arises, if you're really worried about it, look at the card and say, "Gee, I guess I'm supposed to double this," and then blame the card.
Is that so very hard to do??

The thought occurred to me that you might be quoting a RA index. That would, indeed, be a couple of points higher, like +2.

my Zen indexes are count per deck and RA. I have a multiple index of +1 for h17 and +2 for s17 for Soft 18 vs 6.
Not soft 18. Don't call it that; call it A,8. Can be very confusing otherwise.
Anyway, yes, for R-A indices, but not for e.v.-maximizing ones. They would have to be each a point lower, I would imagine.
