Because I know this is not the PLUS MINUS in REVEERE'S BOOK, PLAYING BJ AS A BUSINESS.
But I understand he and later his wife after his death sold a system; I've never read it.
It definitely is Revere Advance Plus/Minus. It is a wonderfull count for shoe games. I've been using the system for 7 years. You side count Aces and each ace off (up or down) you adjust the running count by one. You use a half deck divisor to calculate the True. You use SBA to get the proper index numbers. I feel that when the aces are weak you should not be aggressive on your bets. If you don't have SBA, I can sell the index numbers. The only reason I sell them is I had to pay for SBA.
I'm quite sure that the regular Hi-Lo system is also a good system if you don't care about knowing the strength of the Ace.
The betting correlation, the playing efficiency and the insurance efficacy of this count makes it a poor choice when contrasted with Hi-Lo, K.O. or "Red-7"
This is really a no-brainer. Just pause to think about it for a moment. The Effect of Removal on a 9 is about 1/3 of that for a TEN. Similarly, the 2 is worth only a fraction of what a 5 is worth. Understood?
