What is the best way to handle a trespassing?

I am thinking I could just stand there and plug my ears. "I can't HEAR you!" Or head to the door and see if they can finish reading the whole thing before I get out of earshot. Or maybe when they ask if I understand keep saying "no" until they give up. Or just not respond at all? Or wave my arms and shout bad imitations of other languages "Je n'est comprendez! No comprendo! Kein verstehen!" Make some klicking noises. Whatever.

It does seem weird to just stand there and listen to all that. I wonder, do I really have to?
