On my last visit to Las Vegas, I stuck the Dancer/Daily strategy cards in my pocket, intending to give them a try during a break from blackjack play. I looked for full-pay deuces wild, and found a bank of them at the first casino I checked, Barbary Coast. I selected deuces wild for three reasons: the payback for expert play is 100.76%, deuces wild has a reputation for being difficult, and I had never played deuces wild. I had no difficulty learning how to play deuces wild on the play-as-you-learn basis. It was fun, partly because I invested $20 in the machine and cashed out an hour later with an even 400 quarters. Initially I looked at the card on every hand, but I quickly learned how to play the most frequently-dealt hands. The longer I played, the less frequently I looked at the card. For myself, I think the Dancer/Daily cards are the best aid for learning how to play video poker. That's because I prefer to learn in a casino with real money inserted into a machine.
